Lodge Grass Boys, Girls Add Commanding Wins over Plenty Coups in Doubleheader

BILLINGS--Lodge Grass and Plenty Coups met up Wednesday night on the hardwood at MetraPark for a Class B vs. Class C clash.

The boys were up first, and Plenty Coups got out to a fast start. Emerson Smells scored two of the first six points for the Warriors, who claimed a 6-0 lead.

Then Lodge Grass found their rhythm, J.J. Bends hit a three from an inbound pass, and it helped shift the momentum in the Indians' favor. They had a 54-23 lead at the half.

Turnovers were an issue for both squads early in the game, but corralling the ball and minimizing those turnovers was key for the Indians to find their offensive rhythm.

The Indians put up 100 points in a 100-53 win.
